FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Jennifer Olson, MD
Dr. Olson is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine with nearly 25 years of experience. She is excited to bring a physician owned clinic to the community. She provides care to patients of all ages, from newborn to the elderly. She is passionate about establishing strong relationships with her patients and their families and caring for them through the stages of life. She completed her medical training at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and the Family Practice Residency of Idaho in Boise. After completion of her medical training, she served patients in the Indian Health Service in Fairbanks, Alaska. Her professional interests include patient education, dermatologic, orthopedic and gynecologic office procedures and the promotion of patient autonomy regarding medical care. She specializes in preventive medicine and chronic disease management and works with patients to minimize the use of pharmaceuticals and encourages natural options when possible. Jennifer and her husband Matt are the proud parents of three children- Anya, James and Sarah. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with her family, cooking, tending her flower gardens and attending Bobcat fine arts and sports activities.
CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER
Jodi Jung, CNP
Jodi brings 15 years of experience in rural healthcare, specializing in family medicine, emergency care, internal medicine, chronic disease management, and DOT physicals. With a focus on the elderly, she is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care. Jodi has extensive training with the Institute of Functional Medicine and a strong interest in gut health and autoimmune disease, using an evidence-based, holistic approach to address root causes of health concerns.
She is committed to wellness and preventative medicine, aiming to help patients avoid chronic conditions and lead healthier lives. Jodi’s experience includes managing diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism, and acute illnesses, along with providing annual wellness exams and DOT physicals.
Jodi is excited to join Prairie View Medical Clinic and is aligned with the clinic’s patient-centered philosophy and looks forward to contributing to the health of Brookings and beyond.

Melissa Wright, RN
Melissa is a co-owner of the clinic. She has worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years. She has worked in the rural hospital setting, long term care, transitional care, and primary care setting. She has a passion for patient advocacy and wellness and is excited to work to fulfill our mission and vision. Melissa graduated from SDSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2002. She lives near Colman, SD with her husband Kennley and their 5 children, Jackson, Brooke, Mason, Kaysi, and Ava. If you can’t find her at the clinic, she is likely supporting one of her kiddos at a sporting event, dance recital, or some other activity.

Janii White, RN
Janii brings 36 years of dedicated experience as a Registered Nurse. She is a graduate of South Dakota State University, and her professional background encompasses a diverse range of specialties, including public health and school nursing, hospice and home health care, oncology, and various general nursing services within hospital settings.
Janii is deeply committed to a holistic approach to patient care, understanding the vital role of building strong rapport and empathy. She takes a comprehensive view of her patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, guiding them toward improved health through compassionate support and education.
Outside of her professional life, Janii enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and appreciating nature through activities such as walking and biking. During the winter months, she takes full advantage of the SDSU wellness center.
Janii is the proud mother of two grown children, has one daughter-in-law, and delights in the company of her grandson. She is eager to embark on her new role with the clinic and looks forward to making a positive impact.

Keelie Van Hee, RN
Keelie is a dedicated Registered Nurse, having recently graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her nursing career began in Labor and Delivery/OB, where she has had the privilege of supporting families during some of their most significant moments. She also brings years of experience as a nursing assistant throughout high school and college. She is now excited to bring her skills and compassionate care to her role at Prairie View Medical Clinic.
Outside of work, Keelie enjoys spending time with her family in Minnesota, walking her dog, and making memories with her friends and fiancé, Kyle. This fall, she is excited to be getting married and is looking forward to this new chapter in her life. She is also an avid crafter, loves spending time in nature, and can sometimes be found with a good book in hand.
Keelie is passionate about providing high-quality care and is eager to build meaningful professional relationships with patients at the clinic. She looks forward to contributing to their well-being and being a trusted part of their healthcare journey.

emily domerus, RN
Emily has worked as a nurse for 11 years and has experience in long-term care, home health care, family medicine, inpatient care/ICU, and emergency care. She graduated with her LPN degree in 2014 and graduated with her RN degree in 2019, both from Southeast Tech. She has always been passionate about healthcare and enjoys taking care of others and promoting health & wellness. Her favorite thing about family medicine is the connection that is made between the healthcare team and the patients that we get to see and treat.

Jeannette Maxfield
Jeannette, a former elementary school teacher with a master’s in education, spent 26 years teaching across Wisconsin, Arizona, Minnesota, and South Dakota. She also served as an adjunct instructor in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at SDSU. Throughout her career, she mentored both student teachers and new educators. Despite her passion for teaching, Jeannette chose to join Dr. Olson when she opened Prairie View Medical Clinic. As Dr. Olson’s twin sister, Jeannette has a unique appreciation for Dr. Olson’s commitment to exceptional patient care and is excited to bring that same level of dedication to our patients. Jeannette has two grown children, Grant and Brooke, who live out of state. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Natalie Hoyes
Natalie earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a Master of Education both from SDSU. With over a decade of experience in customer service, she is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
Outside of work, Natalie lives near Arlington, SD, with her husband, Cody, and their two golden retrievers, Sage and Poppy. She enjoys her time outside tending to her garden and chickens and ducks, riding their horses, or working in the woodshop. You may also recognize Natalie from local vendor shows or social media, where she and Cody showcase their woodworking business, CNH Branded Woodworks..
